The Middle Passage is where millions of flock were kidnapped from Africa and taken to the New figure where they were sold as slaves. That gave witnessers the happen upon to see the blood that was shed and hear the screams of the slaves as it was contingency to them. At one point a mother is seen charge her baby in her arms right before she goes overboard killing them both. She did this to escape the cruel treatment and torture that was red ink on and wanted to end the suffering.
